Also coming soon to High Street are the Rosetta Bakery, The Hampton Social, and Jaguar Bolera.

The following photo of High Street and Velvet Taco was taken from across the street at the entrance to Perimeter Mall.  My aim was to illustrate how this fast casual restaurant brings new life to a once empty corridor.

The next photo and side view of Velvet Taco shows people eating and schmoozing while listening to music.  High Street has filled a once desolate boulevard with life, color, interest, and activity, a blockchain of community building.

Skinspirit specializes in beauty and Botox and will soon have neighboring establishments to its left and right.  It’s rumored that a massage chain is opening in the red space. The remaining three spaces are all under construction and may be open by November 2024.

A visitor turns the corner where Rosetta’s is supposedly being constructed and views the High Street oval with the Avery and Brompton facing each other.  Two structures with similar rooftop features separate both residential buildings.  It’s speculated that The Hampton Social seafood restaurant will occupy the larger facility.

Ben and Jerry’s premium ice cream parlor and Allen Edmonds high quality men’s store beckon customers to enter and discover.

Nando’s PERi PERi next meets the eye and the smell of grilling chicken with herbs and chiles teases the nose.  Feet quicken to hasten being seated and ordering that juicy chicken.

The colorful Agave Bandido Mexican restaurant, adjacent to Nando’s Chicken, features an expansive, inviting, beautiful Tequila bar, grill, and food emporium.  Agave’s attractive exterior artwork may be topped by the stylish and exotic interior.

Puttshack, an ambitious mini-golf concept with dining and drinking, will open-up across the plaza from Nando’s and Agave Bandido.

Cross Street is a functional avenue that provides lots of visitor parking, docking areas for new residents moving in, and delivery facilities for trucks.

This unidentified construction area will provide a nice space and view for future customers.

Windsor has put a lot of thought into integrating convenience into all phases of High Street life, even facilitating friendship.  The concept for High Street Hangouts is to help residents find other people who share similar interests and passions.

Windsor scheduled a gathering for all vendors and residents with initiatives to step up and set up a table on the plaza.  They were aided by community-building technologies such as QR Codes and an App for their hangout handouts – Sasha’s handout follows.

Sasha Heller, my son, is a DJ (FriedSushi) who features Drum n’ Bass music mixes on his web site www.deltadubproductions.com.  He presented the notion of a High Street Music Collective made up of musicians, DJ’s, performers, artists, and music enthusiasts who want to share a common interest.

Sasha circulated among the vendors to sell his initiative.  At the end of the day, 15 people joined up. A list and description of the nine new collectives making up High Street Handouts is provided.

The positive response encouraged Sasha to schedule a concert for fellow residents.  On October 10, 2024, a half dozen residents listened to his music. See the following flyer Sasha circulated to attract similar souls.

The Law of Unanticipated Consequences produced a nice result – three people asked Sasha to teach them how to DJ and mix and he agreed.  Please see the next flyer that he developed and circulated to his new hangout group.

Windsor uses the latest technologies to usher in the Connected Community.  Sasha was inspired to reach out to his neighbors and discover other music lovers; Windsor furnished convenient ways and means.

From the perfectly manicured landscaping to the unique selection of dining and entertainment establishments to its sincere commitment to fostering a community of neighbors, Windsor offers its residents at High Street a complete and rewarding lifestyle.
